A nice surprise
Few weeks ago my eldest daughter came back from school all excited. "Look .... look! what I got from the school library" she showed me digging something out of her back pack. It was this book
Oh my God! .... what a surprise? It is a kids book about a true story of a woman librarian in Basrah who attempted to salvage the books in the Basrah library before and during the war.
I read the story to my kids with great affection. The illustrations were very nice and colorful.
