Past right and wrong, beyond dreams and disappointments …. The hex unravels

ihath can't run either

Last sunday, I participated in the Vancouver Sun Run 10K race.

This is the fifth time I participate in this. My time this year was 66 minutes which my best time so far.

While any serious runner would not be impressed by my 66 minutes for a 10K run, I feel very proud considering the fact that I started as a couch potato.

Below is a picture of me crossing the finish line.

You can read the story of how ihath started to run 5 years ago.

I am the only athlete in my family. Even as a young child my parents couldn't understand why I joined every sports group the school offered. Today I am still very active and plan to be for life.
Good for you for not just doing it but setting a good example for your children. Keep believing in yourself!
Congratulations on such a GREAT time!!! 66 minutes is something to be very proud of.
Hugs,di

Dear Ihath,

We're all very proud of you, and find your discipline, determination, hard work and persistence to be inspirational. You look cute too.

My annual run event is the 20th in Fruita, Colorada; a 5k fun run to celebrate Mike the Headless Chicken and his will to live! It's called, "Run Like a Chicken with it's Head Cut Off". Only in Fruita. Details at miketheheadlesschicken.org

Wish I could run as fast as you! The extra altitude kills me:)
